We travel to Casper for business several times per year. For whatever reason hotels are very expensive in this town. I usually choose a Hilton or Hampton Inn type hotel for comfort and reliability. I decided to try this one because we needed 3 rooms and hotels were crazy priced last night. This hotel was literally 1/3 of the price and I felt we got a great value. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s older and going through some updating right now but it was affordable, had a clean hot tub and a typical hotel breakfast. This is our new choice for hotels in Casper.

Disappointing
Disappointing. After a 1,000 mile flight, 5 hrs of negotiations on a vehicle purchase, and a 300 mile from Denver, I was to fatigued to notice I was given a standard room…when I had Reserved a Suite…and still was charged for the suite. Don’t think I would stay at this hotel again. Not a good breakfast, juice machine produced colored water in the orange juice and cranberry dispensers, while the grape juice one was ok.

Not bad.
I have no complaints. It’s just little things. Like the height of the shower head, and the ice machine didn’t work. The gym has the potential to be the nicest gym in the city but the equipment is old and some are not even functional. (One of the ellipticals has a cut power cord so it is really just for show.) They have dumbbells though so that’s a win. Breakfast is small and they ran out of milk but the little omelettes were tasty. Staff is super friendly and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it is out of this world gorgeous in there!

Hotel itself is good. However restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Menu is quirky. I ordered a hamburger (smash burger made from beef and yak) which was OK but nothing to write home about. My wife ordered a pear Gorgonzola salad which would have been OK but they dumped black pepper on it. She cannot eat black pepper. The menu didn’t say anything about that being added. While asking a customer if they want pepper tableside is fine, putting it on in the kitchen isn’t.

The room was spacious enough however the bathroom was extremely dated and worn the bed was comfortable the TV was wonderful however the room had a very odd odor. The young lady at the front desk was amazing with a great personality. Having to pull in the hot tub in the center of the hotel is extremely inviting. Like I said the room we are in seem dated and could use possibly fresh Carpeting and update in the bathroom

Great hotel!!!
OK, this is not a new hotel, but they are trying their very best to renovate it. I love the pool area, atrium, and breakfast area. The breakfast had a great selection. The front desk is super friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The room was older but very clean and comfortable. The area is good, safe, and it is on the river with a walking trail. They also accept dogs with one of the smallest fees! People that are giving it negative reviews are comparing to other newer hotels that are twice the price. I would definitely stay again!

They are making some really nice changes
I was quite pleased with my sleep here. Clean, comfy, and quiet. It's obvious that they are in the middle of a pretty big remodel, but things are really looking good. Nice walking path by the river right beside the hotel.

Riverside hotel stay- Casper WY
We used the pool, hot tub, gym & arcade and enjoyed all of it. The gym could use a fan because there is no air circulating in there and it gets hot. The bad part was my daughter wore white socks into the bathroom and came back out with black hair all over them. We are blondes. I cleaned all the hair from the bathroom floor but then realized the carpet around the coffee bar & mirror was also covered in hair. Our room must not have been vacuumed between previous occupants.

Great bargain
Great venue. Love hotels with nice atriums. Room seemed a little cold; hard to dial in HVAC. Water also seemed a little cold. However, inconveniences were minor. Definitely on my list for Casper!

Has an odor
The first two nights we didn't notice the odor (we had noticed it the last time we stayed). Like I said, the first couple nights, no odor, the third day when we came back, it smelled like a sewer issue in the hallway and in our room. I used my Lysol which I learned from the last stay I needed. Other than this and the heating system, it was ok. The heater/cooler was either HOT or cold, no in between. It could use an updated heating system.
