Beautiful place, very elegant overall. However, food is too expensive for the quality of taste they offer, I would’ve give it 5 star if food was more tasty for the price or more affordable. You can still go to other restaurants more affordable near by.

The staff here is AMAZING! They really care about the guests and their experiences. Also, the grounds are magical - gorgeous tropical plants well-maintained at every turn. The pool at the front of the property is wonderfully uncrowded and beautiful. The fitness center is EXCELLENT!! I recommend this hotel.

Overall great stay. The property had just opened in November and it seems they didn't anticipate the number of guests, service was a bit disorganized but overall friendly staff. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. A bit disappointed that the pools are not heated (excpet for smaller kids pool).

My stay at Doromas in Las Terrenas was truly exceptional. The property is brand new, having recently opened in November 2026, and it absolutely shows in every detail. All of the amenities—including the pools, gym, spa, kids’ pool, paddle boats, and paddle courts—are state-of-the-art, impeccably maintained, and in excellent condition. The rooms were extremely comfortable, with brand-new beds and pillows that made for a very relaxing stay. Everything throughout the property was spotless, tastefully designed, and beautifully decorated. The elevators and facilities all felt modern, efficient, and luxurious. One of the highlights of the hotel is its stunning beachfront setting. The private beach area is peaceful and beautifully maintained, while the calm waterfront makes it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing by the ocean. The staff was courteous, attentive, and professional throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would especially recommend stopping by to say hello to Antonio, the property manager from Costa Rica, who did an outstanding job making sure we felt welcomed and taken care of during our visit. Doromas is definitely a must-stay destination in Las Terrenas. We had an amazing experience and look forward to returning. Wishing everyone who visits as wonderful a time as we had.

The hotel is new and beautiful. The staff was very attentive and kind. We had a great time sitting on the beach by the hotel or eating breakfast or dinner at the hotel restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the upgrade from a room to a room with a balcony. We had a great time oerall.

Totalmente recomendado. Habitaciones impecables con todas las amenidades requeridas, el staff excelente TODO muy amables y serviciales. Un lugar con una arquitectura bella cumpliendo el objetivo de sentirse en un lugar relajado y en paz. La comida muy buena y no condimentada. Me hubiese gustado un menú más amplio pero es entendible por el poco tiempo abierto al publico. También tienen la modalidad abierta al publico general solamente al area del bar, ideal para compartir. En resumen mi lugar a hospedarme cuando vuelva al area de Las Terrenas.

La habitación y las instalaciones excelentes! Excepto la base de la cama que hacía muchísimo ruido El restaurante y la comida nada excepcional (promedio). El servicio debe mejorar, los camareros no están atento a nada, pides un café y duran 20 minutos, tienes que llamarlos y así. El servicio está pobre. En definitiva no es el standard de Marriott, sé que es nuevo por eso la flexibilidad en el comentario.

The hotel is new and the quality of the accommodation is good. Internet speed is extremely low, even by third world standards. The cook top is sleek and modern, but some of the pans are not induction compatible!!! The bracelet that function as a key, is bulky, annoying and is not worthy of a high end hotel. Access to the hotel is through a 1.8 mile, narrow, busy road, without sidewalks. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Breakfast could be better

Beautiful room and overall property. Staff was very attentive and food was good. Beach was within a few steps from property and the pools were very enjoyable. As a new hotel there a few kinks to be worked but overall, we enjoyed our stay.
