Emplacement et cadre magnifique, le personnel est top et toujours disponible si besoin. Les bungalows sont spacieux et bien équipés, comme la piscine et le jacuzzi. Comme précisé par l’établissement, un véhicule 4 roues motrices est nécessaire pour accéder au sommet de la colline. A faire pour vivre au cœur de la jungle quelques nuits.

Todo el hotel está genial, es todo lo que aparece en la fotos, nuestro único inconveniente es que 2 noches de 4 no tuvimos luz ! Dicen que es común que pase eso en la zona. Además necesitas un vehículo 4x4 para poder ingresar.

The property is gorgeous, the view is even better. The bungalow was spacious, spotless, and had everything needed for a perfect retreat. Park your car and let Carlos drive up the harrowing hillside, you’ll thank me later! I came late in the season after a powerful thunderstorm so the pool was closed, also there were no other guests, made for a lonely stay.

Excellent place, friendly staff, great views in every direction, overall a great experience. Just be aware to have a strong 4x4 vehicle to take you from the entrance to the resort. The roads aren't paved, it is up hill and it is fun to drive provided if you have the right vehicle.

Our stay at Samasati was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was so beautiful - we saw so much wildlife and loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof and waking up with the birds and monkeys. I love that it was removed from the fast pace of the road and beaches, but close enough to spend the day out and about.

We loved our stay at this beautiful retreat. It was the perfect way to unwind at the beginning of our trip and wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that we were having a fantastic stay and that we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and they easily accommodated our dietary preferences. The morning yoga was exceptional and inspiring. We will definitely return to this beautiful place. We felt very relaxed and rejuvenated and highly recommend! dietary preferences.

We love this property. The staff, Mark and Rebecca, were very friendly and helpful. The amenities, pool and hot tub, were clean and inviting. I know of no other place that offers just a great vibe. Being one with nature, watching and hearing them is wonderful. This was our 20-year anniversary and the 2nd we have been a guest. We will be back. Thank you! Jennifer and Wendy

This is a true jungle resort! You will hear the roar of the monkeys, the sound of green parrots waking you up in the morning, the hundreds of red and some green frogs. The greenness of the jungle is surrounding you. The perch up the steep hills allow for great views below of the Atlantic coast. The cabins for couples and families allow extra privacy. The cabins are furnished with comfortable beddings, nice spacious washrooms, with a fan if needed. The resort is at least one km up curvy and very steep hills—so having a very strong 4x4 is a must. They have a restaurant here that’s best to order in advance. Food is delicious and lack variety. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable of the area. The resort shares the area with other properties so there is a locked gate that requires advanced planning when you come as the area where the gate is has no cellular access to call the staff to open the door when you arrive. We didn’t swim in the pool as it was cold in December but our kids enjoy the hottub when it was heated. The surrounding areas are great for exploring —we love the waterfalls, the lava beaches and sandy ones. There are many good restaurants within half an hour drive. There are memorable trips to the Jaguar Reserve (no jaguars), the Cacao tour and Jungle tours. We had a car and were able to enjoy the area thoroughly using this resort as a base for a week. Wonderful and will come back in future!
