The room was a room for the prices. Nothing fancy just what you need for overnight stay: a bed, a shower.

I desired to stay here, as my employment takes me through this area and I did not wish to travel back home that night. No one was available at any of the phone numbers online or in person, posted on the office. I made an online reservation and showed up, expecting to receive a room. I love to support local small businesses, and this motel seemed charming. Very unfortunately, no one was available to provide any service. I do not enjoy leaving negative reviews at all, but as other people will likely be traveling through the area like me, and there are limited overnight stay options, it is good to know which places are dependable and which are not.

Gave away our reservation!

When, I got there, I was told I didn’t have a reservation-they gave my room to “walk-ins”. After driving 400+ miles, we had to stay at a different hotel.

They refused Me the room. They said they Only do walk-in. I said I had Booked the room on-line and they said TOO Bad and to leave the motel . They said the booking in-line cost charges a fee and that they will not allow.at to happen

For us, it was a not-so-good experience. * We turned on the A/C but it was difficult getting the room to a comfortable temperature. * We had to request another set of sheets. * The mini fridge had mildew along the inside edges of the door. * I couldn’t get any sleep due to the constant itching that I was experiencing. My guess is that there were mosquitoes getting into the room because I had multiple bumps from my head/face to my legs. My blood type tends attracts them. If it had been “bed bugs,” my wife would have also experienced this type of itching discomfort.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, Staff says they don’t take online reservations, even though it was paid for, had to ask for a refund and during that process staff was shouting to the Expedia employee, felt unsafe during this incident, had to pay for a different hotel in the next town.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I think this may be the first review I've ever done of a hotel but just need to warn folks. The owner lives on site and has zero customer service skills. When I checked in he said, he needed to put toilet paper and towels in the room. Then he told me he was going to come in the room in 30 mins (at 10pm at night) to put a referigerator in. I had to tell him no thanks and he could do that in the morning when I checked out. I noticed some bugs in the room and now I have severe flea or bed bug bites.
