AIR CONDITIONING EXCELLENT; ROOM WAS CLEAN, BUT ON TWO OF THE FOUR DAYS THERE WERE COCKROACHES IN THE BATHROOM. LEAVING LIGHT ON OVERNIGHT KEPT COCKROACHES HIDDEN ON LAST TWO DAYS DIDN'T SEE THE POOL STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT AND HELPFUL

Booked a 4 night stay at University Inn. Check in was smooth and the lady at the desk was polite. Got to the room and wasn't overly impressed but thought it would be fine, that is until I had a closer look. Went into the bathroom and there was an almost fully used roll of toilet paper instead of a new roll, not a big deal. Closed the bathroom door and there was a fist sized hole on the inside of the door, a little concerning but not major since the hole didn't go completely through the door. Walking in the floor no matter how lightly you tried to walk just sounded like you were stomping across the floor, a little annoying when you're trying to sleep. The deal breaker was when I saw multiple roaches on the floor and wall. The next morning I went to the front desk and checked out. The same lady asked if if there was anything she could do to which I replied she could refund the next 3 days that I was supposed to stay. When she asked why and I told her she refunded the other days without even questioning what I had told her. Apparently the issue did not come as a surprise to her which basically means they know the issues but don't do anything to address them. Also the pool they claimed to have was closed. Terrible experience and I would recommend staying anywhere but here.

When I saw the deal on this room I was worried about the location it was in. However, I was pleased to see it right in the middle of some really nice hotels. When we walked into our room and turned the light on hundreds of bed bugs went scurrying back to their hiding places. We ran out of there quickly and the staff was great in giving us another room. Unfortunately though I was not able to sleep at all because of what I was worried would be coming out at night. Thank goodness it was just a one night stay or else I would have gone somewhere else. Check your room at night if staying there. Bed bugs don’t come out in the day.

The lady at the front desk during check in had this underlying judgemental tone toward me. Almost like she knew my type and didn't like me from the get go. This plaxe was Nasty. Noisy. Awful. I've stayed in every price range. From $65/night to thousands / night. This place was the worst. The cloth chair looked like dirty blue collar men had sat in it for the last 10 years. That's not a slight on blue collar men, I am one. But if I sat in a cloth chair after work every day, this chair is what it would look like. The bed had a very faint smell of vomit... The white paint in the tub was flaking off and showing the bright blue tub it used to be. Roaches. The curtains had what appeared to be cigarette burn holes in them. The mattress was uncomfortable. The pillows were flat. There were people upstairs and outside yelling and running ALL night long. The AC was impossible to set correctly it was either too cold or too hot. We tried to go to sleep about 10 to get up at 7. We got about 3 hours sleep. It was miserable.

Room had an extreme smoke smell. Clerk came to room and smelled it ( and commented how bad it was from the hall) Tub had pore line off and bare metal showing. Some People appeared to be long term residents, with people sitting outside in lawn chairs that seemed like they had been there a while Room 116 Will never stay here again and it really!!! makes me question using hotels . com again

Gross room with stains either blood or poop on the lamp shade and floor was coming up dirt on the floors one sheet had green gum chewed on it and worst of all they are what used to be a days inn meaning they lost the naming rights to the worst franchise possible because of how bad they are! Was awful tbh
