If 3 people stay in a room with one double bed and a sofa bed, keep in mind that the hotel does not provide sheets for the sofa bed. Only a blanket and one small pillow, which we eventually gfound in a closet. We expected more.

The location was perfect, close to hospital for family health need. Walking distance to eats and shops. Clean, spacious room. Even with no front desk, we were checked in on each day and easy to contact. Great stay, would book again!?

The room itself was very nice and clean. The location is quite ideal for a stay centered in downtown Duluth and nearby canal park. The elevator didn’t really work, so it was a one floor walk up. The second night there was one couple that had a difficult time getting into their room and they were very audible through our door. Later, an employee tried to access our room after we had gone to sleep and woke me up with the attempt. (I believe this was an honest mistake, but still disconcerting.) Even later in the evening still-and waking us up again-a couple had a very loud argument in their room that we were able to hear rather clearly. Most of this is outside of the hotel’s control, but it is still hard to give a higher rating given the experience.

The room didn’t look like the picture - the bedroom was a separate room (a box w/ no windows). Very disappointing. There was one towel when we got there - they did bring more right away. No body lotion and the mattress is just memory foam. We didn't realize it was more like a contactless Airbnb and there is no reception. Felt like a boutique hotel is a stretch and it should be noted your suite may be split into totally separate areas. We're glad for easy parking and the location is great.

Loved the room! Super comfortable, and the view of the lakefront was stunning. Room was clean, and welcoming. I love the ease of the access, to the room. Only suggestion for other travelers is to prebook your parking, as it can be limited in the area.

After figuring out how to get into the property everything was good. No staff available to answer questions. Didn’t let us know about hitting the check mark on the pad after hitting code. Dusty around furniture. Paid parking area was very tight and made me nervous to leave my vehicle.

Had a nice spacious one bedroom suite with the Lakeview. It was nicely decorated and clean. There was an issue with the touchpad entering the building. It took several minutes just to get in the building. Other than that, everything was good.

Not a great place for business travelers. The room was good but everything else was a hassle. Code to get in building was wrong. The code to get in the room was wrong. Parking is a hassle as well. While trying to pay for parking on a website that doesn’t work, I got messages saying my car was going to be towed. There are way better places to stay in Duluth that aren’t a hassle. I will say the lady I had to call over and over was very nice.

It was a beautiful room. We didn't have a problem navigating the smart features. Getting in and out wasn't a problem. Parking was a bit of a trick as I am in a wheelchair. Again, we figured it out. We will definitely consider The Intrepid again. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Location was ideal, parking was not as it’s extra per night. The unit was very clean except for some hair left on the shower wall. The main door to get in the building was sometimes a challenge to get the keypad to turn on. The view from the room was nice.
