The hotel overbooked, and this caused a lot of confusion at the time of check-in. They could not find my Expedia booking and hence we had to wait for almost half an hour. Although we had booked a superior triple room, we eventually got a double bed with an extra cot. We managed it in the end, but I would have certainly liked a more hassle-free experience at the hotel. The room was very small for three adults. The bathroom was comparatively bigger, so we had to keep some of our suitcases in the bathroom overnight to ensure there is some space in the room itself. There was no window in the room. All that said, the hotel is conveniently located for temple darshan. Everything was super clean. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and found the food tasty. However, the schezwan fried rice was too hot and spicy.

For people planning to visit the Madurai Amman Temple, this is perfect! The temple is literally across the street. The property is extremely clean, well maintained and the staff is very courteous and helpful. Given its proximity to the temple, the only disadvantage is that cabs are not allowed to drop you off in front of the hotel. You will have to walk a few minutes. The hotel staff is helpful and will help with your luggage

The Meenakshi Temple is just next to this property, making it a perfect location for visitors. The hotel is excellent, and the staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. It also has an in-house restaurant, but you’ll find plenty of great dining options within walking distance if you’d like to explore. And if you’re in Madurai, don’t miss trying Jigarthanda—it’s an absolute must! 😁

Great hotel! Great staff and restaurant attached to it “Meenakshi cafe” has one of the best food!! And Meenakshi mandir is just right outside this hotel. If you are coming to Madurai and planning to visit Meenakshi temple, would definitely recommend to stay here!
