Bait and switch location
On the positive side, the room was very spacious, the person at check in was kind, and it was a few blocks to the beach. Although we didn't need it, the kitchenette was nicely stocked with kitchen supplies. The nearby beach is LOVELY!
Please be aware that the location that is shown on the Hotels.com map is NOT where the property is located. You may be assigned at any of their locations as many as 8 blocks away (1/2 mile). The "access to a pool" could be 6 blocks away - useless! This may be fine if you know it ahead of time, but these location 'options' are NOT noted anywhere on the listing. This is very deceptive. By the time the hotel follows up with the confirmation email noting the different locations, you cannot cancel your reservation. The beach towels that are paid as part of your resort fee are NOT available in your room - they could be a 1/2 mile away - grab them when you check in. Besides poor communication in the listing, their actual communication is completely non-responsive. I never got a response to any of my email, phone calls to their 24 hour phone line, or voicemails over the course of 5 days. There was no room keeping though someone dropped off clean bathroom towels once, the garbage was never emptied, I killed a cockroach, there was a bit of garbage under the couch, and the room had a water damaged ceiling dropping dusty unknowns into the room.
I would NOT recommend this hotel unless you have no other options.
