Having access to the Ashford Castle grounds, the 9 hole golf course, great food and walking paths made this a delightful stay. Rooms are two story with a downstairs sitting area, electric fireplace and patio. Upstairs is a cozy bedroom and luxurious granite bath. If you’re not in the mood to walk, they offer shuttles up and down the hill to the Castle, gardens, golf course and tea room.

The best
Excellent stay; staff were welcoming and extremely attentive, the room and all areas were comfortable and spotless. Food was good - I had an issue with part of my meal in Wilde's and this was rectified immediately. Breakfast was the best we have ever experienced.

Lovely grounds, property, service!! Must stay in Ireland!
Christan, 1-night trip

There is no greater value for your money. The lodge itself is beautiful and as a standalone hotel is well worth the price but given the fact you get full access to the Ashford castle and grounds it’s a no brainer. The staff at the lodge are fantastic. Especially Kevin at breakfast. The breakfast itself, included in the price, was phenomenal.
Jonathan, 2-night trip

We had a fantastic time. The Wolfhound walk was so nice and he was hysterical. We also had dinner at George V, which was an amazing experience. However, the thing that I will never forget was the school of Falconry. We did the 90 minute Hawk Walk and it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life!
