An amazing hotel in every way. Location was superb. The hotel itself was beyond bijou - it was a real gem! The staff were delightful and couldn’t be more helpful. Our room was elegant, large, and charming. Right on the water, you can walk Stari Gard easily. The staff is excellent and the breakfast is lovely. (I recommend the Sunshine eggs.) I meant to get a hotel in Hvar town and when I realized my mistake, I wasn't allowed to cancel the reservation. But that turned out to be a blessing in disguise because Stari Gard is even more relaxing than Hvar and an easy bus ride from Hvar. And, it's probably just me, but the only signage outside the hotel says Mausoleum, but it's the big, pink building.
