We were not impress with the room condition of the hotel and we receive a dirty room with dirty towels, items left in the room. Spoke to management about it, but it seems like we were just complaining too much. This room had roach in it. We were only offered $20 off one night and nothing else... what was not great is that management did not address us after. If we were white, then it would have been different situation. This hotel needs more management staff training...the front desk agents both the guy and young lady was pleasant, but the supervisor was rude. The restaurant staff and cafe shop staff were amazing... but supervisors and management need training and development.

The property overall is good. Our first night we had a terrible room, the air quality was poor, the room was run down. It was quite uncomfortable and I did not sleep that night. We were able to get a different room the following day when one became available. The hotel should have issued a refund for the first night. We did not ask, but we expected them to give the refund. They need to put that room out of circulation until it is upgraded. No one should be subjected to that type of room.

Very helpful staff during the hurricane. Had generator for power and Wifi in the hotel hurricane center. Gave the guests free meals during the hurricane until the restaurant reopened.

Beautiful, well maintained grounds and characterful rooms with good sized balconies, this is a lovely property well located overlooking Villa Beach. Food and drink was a bit of a let down, pricey and catering for tourists rather than local dishes. However there was a good range of local bars and restaurants along the adjacent boardwalk 'strip'. Worth noting that there is no shade on the pool deck and it's a plunge pool rather than a swimming pool and being small gets very hot, although there is direct access to the crystal clear Caribbean waters if you want to stretch out further and the snorkling is excellent in the adjacent Indian Bay. Buses into Kingstown, the cricket stadium, and up the highway go directly from the front gate for easy access to other parts of the island

The check in team was inept- took close to half an hour for them to figure out our reservation. with a confirmation.Lost our son's reservation-though they had a confirmation- charged them for a higher room.Ours was a large room with great view- however AC was broken and it was hot. Kept telling us they would fix- it but they didn't. Offered us a different room-the only other one- another story higher. I have back/hip problem so unable to do all the steps.Needless to say- slept hardly at all. Food was mediocre. this was a 1 night stay before tranferring to Sandals.

I only stayed for a day for the Australia vs Afghanistan World Cup game - but it’s a “must visit again” island and beachcombers was very convenient and the service was excellent. I had breakfast and dinner here - highly recommend. All was very enjoyable.
