I spent a week in the business suite. The room itself was very large but it was extremely basic. It is very much a case of you get what you pay for.
Good things:
- Large room
- Free bottled water
- Daily housekeeping
- Quick check in and check out
Bad things:
- Basic toiletries - you get a large tub of shampoo and body wash combined, and that's it (although there was a small box containing a toothbrush and paste)
- There is no safe in the room. If you want to use their safe, you have to pay 100RMB a day, plus a 1,500RMB deposit
- When surrounding rooms used their bathroom, the pipes were so noisy that it woke me up
- The staff speak very basic English, so are unable to help with anything
- The walls between rooms are thin. I could regularly hear muffled voices, TV and on one occasion the couple next door getting intimate.
- There is no room service. They only have vending machines with very limited options.
Apart from that, the hotel was fine. It was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. It's a cheap hotel, so I guess you can't expect much.
