Holiday Inn Express - Nags Head was backed up right near the beach. My spouse and I loved that! The view was gorgeous, and the hotel is right off the "strip" where you could access all the restaurants, shopping, activities, and sights you would ever want to see. It was very convenient. The hotel staff was nice, the cleaning staff did a great job with the hotel room, and it was well-appointed. We have no complaints. My only concern is that there was no sign for the hotel on the main highway, or "the strip". It was difficult to see the hotel from the main road at night, since there weren't many street lights in that area, and for people unfamiliar with the area, it would've been helpful to have a hotel sign on the strip that says to "Turn Here" to get to the hotel. Other than that, our stay was great!

Perfect location for vacation in Nags Head
From check in to check out the stay was great. Oceanfront room was requested and granted. Pool was warm, room was clean and love the Dove products. Housekeeping was very accomodating for extra towels. The front desk was very helpful, (Shayla-her 1st couple of new days) friendly. They would always greet us when we came into the lobby. The breakfast for a free service was great, lots of selections for every day, we would love to see a waffle maker there. The coffee station was great for cups to go, and they even had seasonal creamer. Upon arrival they signed us up for a plan for rewards. It was a great stay and great location for our vacation.

So-so
We stayed for 4 nights. My 93 year old husband needed a rest from his cancer therapy. The hotel was ok but totally dreary. The ocean view was wonderful but some color & cheer in the bedroom would have helped. I think every shower should have grab bars for safety. The breakfast & area were excellent & front desk crew was helpful & friendly. Room cleaners did minimal work but the room was clean. Too dreary a place for a return stay unfortunately.

Nice and Quaint.
Came for a quick little trip to get some quality time with my partner. Everything was lovely. My room was clean only thing I found was a piece of long dirty blonde hair in my wash cloth which can happen but other than everything was great. The breakfast was good and seasoned well! They even had pumpkin spice creamer!! Nice distance from everything and to everything.
