The service was great. The staff tried to help us out with our questions. The breakfast was OK - very simple Japanese food. The room is very small. We had a two-single bed room, and it was hard to find space to put our cases in the room.

The room was well set out for a typical (small) double room, however we didn't like the 4pm check in and the included breakfast was very basic. We did however find the best Izakaya just down the street.

Hotel for late flight
I chose this hotel as it has a cheap price (as compared to the hotels in Sapporo for a Saturday night) and is along the way to Lake Toya for the following day. I'm presently surprised that this hotel is in good condition even though it is in a quiet town with almost no tourist. As with any Japanese business hotel, expect that the room and bathroom to be quite small.
