This was a wonderful stay, right in the heart of Monastiraki, which is like a hub of activity! Despite there being a restaurant right outside, we were on the 2nd floor, and couldn't hear a thing - great soundproofing! The roof terrace is lovely and the breakfast was also great - made to order! Would definitely stay here again, it was perfect.

Nicely located and comfortable

The Artist Athens was a nice hotel with very clean rooms. The daily breakfast is made to order and tasty. The rooftop bar is great and the restaurant looks good but we don’t get a chance to try it. The location is amazing - easy to walk to all of the main attractions and area for restaurants, shopping, site seeing and quick bites. Staff was very nice.

Hotel breakfast is very generous, the bread basket has assorted Greek pastries in addition to bread. Wide selection of main courses to choose from and best of all, it ends at 11am, later then most hotels. Sound insulation can be slightly better. Like the terrace garden on second floor too. Only issue is that shower ceiling has a beam which is slightly low so sometimes bump slightly into it.

We would like to say “Efcharistó” to the amazing team at The Artist Athens. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and freshly hand-made lemonade. We enjoyed beautiful breakfast daily. We also enjoyed a sensational Gastronomy Experience at the Rooftop restaurant, which has an uninterrupted and incredible view of the Acropolis at sunset. I have to say the staff at the hotel were exceptional and demonstrated Greek hospitality at its finest. We’ll be back.
