Learn more about Ogunquit
Wander along Marginal Way, a cliff-hugging path where the Atlantic crashes dramatically against Maine's rocky shore. Ogunquit Beach stretches three miles with sand so soft locals call it 'footsie heaven.' The Ogunquit Playhouse has been staging Broadway-caliber shows since 1933 in a barn-like theatre where Paul Newman once performed. Little Beach hides between granite outcroppings, offering solitude when the main beach fills with summer visitors. At Perkins Cove, watch lobstermen unload their catch before dining on seafood so fresh it practically introduces itself. For the best experience, arrive at Footbridge Beach early with coffee from a local café and watch the morning light transform the coastline.

The Admiral's Inn Resort
"Fine for an older facility."
Aspinquid Resort
"We stayed for 2 nights for our first visit to Ogunquit. We were happy with the location, minutes away from the Ogunquit beach and Footbridge beach, but also close to the Shore Road which is the main street packed with restaurants and shops. The hotel was clean, however the room to the bathroom didn’t close all the way, which made it inconvenient. The hotel is old, with old amenities and wooden doors that you couldn’t close properly and can hear everything through them. There is no acoustic separation and could hear people outside the corridor late at night slamming doors and talking. Ok place to stay for a couple of nights but wouldn’t return here if I come back to Ogunquit."
Ogunquit River Inn & Suites
"The staff was great. The breakfast was fresh and always ready on time. The room was clean and we had what we needed. A mini fridge and large tv made it very nice. The inn has a beautiful view of the river, but the website was deceiving. The website made it look like the rooms had private balconies, when in fact it had one balcony shared by all of the guests that ran the length of the building. The only entrance to the rooms were sliding glass doors covered by a heavy curtain. My husband and I hated fighting this curtain every time we came in and out of our room. It had to be kept closed for privacy from the shared balcony, but also prevented us from enjoying the view of the river. The sliding glass door was difficult to lock and unlock as we would come and go during the day. I know the negatives to the inn are primarily due to its age, but it will keep us from staying there again in the future."
Terrace by the Sea
"Everything was good. The only thing that would have been nice is more protein options at the breakfast. Hard boiled eggs would have been nice"
Stage Run By The Sea
"Helpful staff. We were visiting in fall, but if we had traveled with family in the summer we probably would’ve enjoyed the amenities more. Great location. A few repairs needed - our blinds wouldn’t close fully but there was a very bright light on all night. Otherwise mostly fine. We would stay here again if in the area."
Ogunquit - The Milestone
"Clean, and aceptable for the price, the continental breakfast is awful, only coffee and cupcakes."
InnSeason Resorts The Falls at Ogunquit
"The location is perfect for this time of year, short walk to the footbridge but a good mile from downtown. The whirlpool is a plus after a day of walking or driving. Full kitchenette so you can bring your own food. Especially breakfast. Would recommend and stay there again. Nice restaurants next door to choose from."
Norseman Resort
"Everything was wonderful. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Room was clean and well-presented. Outstanding experience."
Seacastles Resort
"I was disappointed that the refrigerator drove some of my perishables."
