"Charming, cozy, and clean cabin with a relaxing deck and very kind host. It was amazing listening to the birds at 12:30am while soaking in the hot spring fed outdoor spa watching the colorful midnight sunset, priceless! This highlight was only topped by whale watching from the porch. The cabins are set back slightly from the fjord and the views are stunning! It's an easy 1 minute walk to the waters edge, and an easy drive to Dalvik too. So thankful we found these cabins; all surrounded by wildflowers, whales, nature, and beautiful Iceland. "

"This is a unique property. The full kitchen is available for travelers to use to cook their dinner. If we had known, we would have brought some food to cook. Rooms were nice but there is a flight of stairs for all rooms. Keep that in mind. Nice laundry facilities which we made use of. Nice common sitting areas where we chatted with other travelers. It really is in the middle of nowhere but definitely a place to consider staying at. The man at check it was very helpful. "

The location (quiet solitude, views, surrounded by the horses), all the comforts of home (to sit on a real couch again even lol) and being able to make our own meals and enjoy a private evening in the hot tub were just what I needed."

"This is a fantastic boutique hotel in a sleepy little Nothern Iceland town where the whale watching is out your window if you are lucky enough! The beer hot tubs, which is a must if a beer lover is a 2 minute walk up the street. The pictures of this place and entrance don’t do it justice. The rooms are huge with picturesque windows of the ocean and island nearby. There is a real king size bed (not two twins stuck together). A lovey little sitting area as well. The wifi and TV works greats. The bathroom is super clean and best of all you have beer (yes that is correct) amenities. Extra towels are in the hallway as well if you need them. You are welcomed with two cans of Kaldi Beer (nice and cold in your room) as right next door is the oldest craft brewery in Iceland, Kaldi Beer. Breakfast is continental style and included in the morning. They also have s whale watching tour your right from the hotel in the mornings. Be sure to make your Beer tub reservations in advance. Look for your check-in email the day before for the code to enter your room. The restaurant at the beer tub is great for dinner (loved the salmon). Don’t drink and drive, definitely stay here and enjoy the quaintness of this town. "
