This is a great place to stay for visiting Thingvellir National Park. There are also many other Golden Circle sights within about 30-45 minutes driving from here. Very convenient for tourism.

Selfoss is a small-ish town and there is not a lot in Selfoss. We just stayed for an over-nighter on our way around Iceland and dining at the food hall (within walking distance of the hotel) was excellent.

"stayed for one night before cruise. perfect location. short walking distance from bus stop #6, where i drop off from airport shuttle. roomy for one person even with large suitcase. also quiet at night and comfortable bed. shared bathroom is clean and have Ritual brand toiletries. will stay again "
"We had a great stay. The hotel was reasonable and the location awesome. Breakfast had many options, my super picky 10 years old found new things to try. On the negative side, the bathrooms are very tiny (shower where a grown up can barely turn) and they could be cleaner (e.g. the shower curtains should be replaced/washed for each guest - it was rather disgusting)."
