Hotel was shut but they had confirmed booking 2hours earlier. Nobody appeared to be in the hotel guests or management. This caused us a lot of trouble and reorganisation. It appeared they haď gone on holiday.

Ordentlicher Landgasthof mit guter Küche
Wegen eines Termins für eine Umbaumaßnahme an meinem Auto hat es mich nach March verschlagen. Das beste Haus dort ist "Jauch's Löwen". Beim Empfang Stirnrunzeln vom Chef des Hauses, Herrn Jauch, da ich über HOTELS.COM gebucht hatte ("eigentlich sind alle unsere Zimmer teurer"). Das zugewiesene Doppelzimmer Nr.1 unter dem Dach war ziemlich klein, sauber mit moderner Sanitärkabine (lästige Dachschräge über dem WC) und gewöhnungsbedürftigem schmalen und sehr niedrigem Doppelbett. Unangenehm war die Lage in Richtung der stark befahrenen Hauptstraße. Das Fenster war zwar recht gut schalldicht - in geschlossenem Zustand war es aber viel zu warm zum Schlafen.
Positiv das Abendessen im Restaurant. Der uns zuerst zugewiesene winzige "Katzentisch" direkt an der Theke und am Eingang wurde auf meinen Protest hin gegen einen Tisch weiter hinten im Lokal ausgetauscht. Die Küche ist sehr ordentlich mit großzügig bemessenen Portionen. Es wird hier schmackhaft und wohltuend leicht gekocht. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet.
