This stay was part of a road trip through Europe, which consisted of among others 12 different hotels.
Best Western Plus Park was chosen due to the Best Western affiliation. But this was far from the usual Best Western hotels we have stayed in both in Europe as well as the States. And out of the 12 different hotels we stayed at, this was by far the worst hotel.
It was only one man in at the front desk and a load of passengers coming from the airport came at the same time, so it took a while to get checked in. That is no problem at all. What is a problem is the standard of the hotel room.
The carpet is a strong contender in the most nasty hotel carpet I have seen.
In the bathroom there were 3 possible sources of plumbing issues, and the room hit all three of them.
In the shower water was rising uncomfortably when showering.
The faucet at the sink came out like a shotgun burst, all over the place. And the toilet needed 6 flushes to take care of business. This not due to the use of paper, the flush just wasn't there.
On the bright side, the chef was excellent! Mr. Service himself, and that was very much appreciated.
