Nha Trang was my favorite city to visit along Hanoi, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Saigon. It's a mix of the wonderful Vietnamese culture and the modern city vibe of the western culture. It's clean and safe.

Unique Vietnamese Waikiki vibe but supper affordable and without the ABC's. I feel like a king there. Laundry service, ban mi, fruit stands everywhere. For Asia it is the best beach I've seen so far. And it's so close and accessible.

Nha Trang is indeed a charming coastal town where everything is within easy reach. It's an ideal destination for those looking to unwind and relax. The pleasant temperature, ranging from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius in January, makes it perfect.

3 hot springs only 7 km/ 25 min. from centre. I-Resort is best. Tram Trung (100 eggs) is big and less expensive. Thap Ba is least expensive of the 3, should go early and leave around 2 PM to avoid the massive invasion of noisy Chinese tourists.

Nha Trang is a delightful beach town when the weather is not too hot... geared towards the large contingency of Russian tourists it delivers a lovely beach resort area that doesn't feel like it is part of Vietnam

I've not been back for 16 years, things have changed and not for the better, but overall a very safe and enjoyable beach town to enjoy.
