Fine for the price

It wasn’t exceptionally clean and it is very old and dated. But it wasn’t gross by any means. The service was friendly. It was very inexpensive so it didn’t need to be magnificent. It was just fine for a one night stay.

The check in time was 30 minutes later than what was provided by Hotels.com and they did make me wait the full 30 minutes. The bathroom was rather dirty with someone's hair stuck all over the place. A breaker kept kicking off, making us lose power to half of our room even though the only thing we had on was the TV. I had to call the front desk twice to ask them to fix it. Also, despite it being a non-smoking hotel, the hallways and elevators reeked of marijuana.

Remodel has helped

There was an issue with the processing of our payment card that the lady said was a card error. She did not offer an alternative way to pay, such as manual entry. There was often no one at the desk. I requested a ground floor room due to traveling with my elderly father who has mobility issues. The request was accommodated. The tub however was not suitable for use for my father due to the floor of the tub being wobbly and poses a safety risk, even to someone without mobility issues. I attempted to talk with someone at the front desk multiple times but no one was there and we needed to check out to be at a 9a.m. commitment. My father was unable to shower before we left. We received excellent service from a young lady that must have left shortly after breakfast was served. I suspect there may have been someone in a back office but not assisting customers at the front desk. We also needed the handicap parking near the entrance and a personal car was parked in the striped area that is intended for entry and exiting of a vehicle in the adjoining handicap spot. There is a large lot that this car could be parked in and I suspect that it was an employee vehicle. While this location has come a long way since my stay in June 2022, there are still matters that could be addressed. The breakfast was good and serving area clean. The rooms appear to have been updated bit the hallways may not have been. There was quite a bit of hallway noise in the evening

We went to 4 different rooms and there was mold in every single one of them. It looks as if they just painted over mold that was currently there instead of treating it. The whole floor reeked of weed. Very out dated despite the fact that they seem to be renovating. May be a good place for construction workers who don't care about these things. They were very nice and understanding about it. Staff was great!

Room was decently clean. Only thing we could tell there was a bad prior gets who probably smoked in the room hence the plastic cover over an smoke alarm plus burn mark on chair and heavily perfumed smell in one of our rooms All great staff and clean rooms so Breakfast attendant kind and kept everything supplied and tidy thank you

You basic typical hotel needing work

It was a pretty decent day. They definitely had it issues. The bathroom was kind of disgusting due to the state of the room. Looks like it had a nasty leak on the ceiling. The tub was dirty. I had to clean it before I got in and the bedsheets did not look very fresh. I ended up getting my own sheets and making the bed myself. The staff was very friendly although the Night Shift girl was very short in her attitude. I ask her for an iron. She told me she didn’t know she had to get the manager to give me one tomorrow morning and then I had asked her for something else, and she said she didn’t know how to do. None of that either it was almost as if it was her first day. She was not very interactive to the guest at all, kind of lazy acting although the other staff was very friendly when I saw them
