Ants everywhere
Found a few ants near bathroom sink when checked in at 11pm. Tired so went to bed. Woke up to find over 25+ants all over the bathroom. Found more spiders n the shower. Found more bear coffee machine. So we packed up and demanded a refund for the 2nd night. No refund for the 1st night. No apologies, worker didn’t seem to be phased.

Needs Improvement
Basic accommodation. Book a king room if possible as the queen room will lack amenities of the king. For the rates that they charge they should consider offering a free hot breakfast. Also would be great if there were a mini-fridge in every room. I stayed here a week for business. Probably not the best place for an extended stay. A short weekend stay seems to be better for this place.

PARADISE FOUND
THE ATRIUM IS A TRUE GEM! 3 story hotel built around a beautiful and serene pool and garden atrium! Rooms are clean and adorned with colorful and uplifting decorations and inspirational art! I like the rooms that overlook the pool and some rooms are upgraded like room 226. I hope they re do all the rooms like that one! Excellent customer service with a shout out to Omar, Annette, James and Sylvia! They welcome you into their property in the beautiful lobby and make sure you feel welcome like family! Beds are comfy and hotel is quiet and great location to Walk to John Wayne airport and coffee and restaurants. GREAT HOTEL!!!

Room was not clean, floor was sticky as weak as tub. Had to purchase own cleaning supplies to clean room. After calling house keeping to clean room, the left dirty towels on the floor of the bathroom and did not replace any cups or soap.

Good location, large room but that's about it.
The hotel is attractive enough but lacks some really basic things: Bathrooms have only ONE bar of soap and two small bottles of shampoo. Front desk refused to give me another bar of soap. Bathroom had only ONE large towel. Room was large and fairly clean but the AC system was noisy and unstable. Breakfast cost $19.00 which consisted of disgusting fried eggs that looked like they had been cooked, frozen and defrosted, gross looking bacon strips, a self-service waffle maker, crusted with filthy batter and looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks, 3 or 4 types of sliced bread that was so stale, a slice actually snapped apart like a cookie when I picked it up, hard as rock bagels, mystery jam, little packs of apple sauce, two types of old cereal with milk in pitchers that were not chilled, so the milk was warm and probably poisonous. The only good thing was the coffee. In all fairness, I complained about the disappointing breakfast and they did not charge me for it - esp. since all I really ended up having was a cup of coffee. The lobby has an InstaChef food dispenser which is essentially a vending machine that spits out hot prepared meals. I didn't dare try it (see pic). If you need snacks and supplies, use the gas station literally next door. Staff was very nice and polite but limited in what they could do to accommodate guests for things like soap and towels.

Very spartan rooms. Not even a mini fridge in the dual queen size room. Breakfast you have to pay for. Seems like those two amenities should be offered for what I’m paying. Very disappointing. I have started here for business and it seems that conditions are deteriorating.

Stay was fine except the brunch. $20/person, and there were out of thing 1 hour into breakfast. Waffle maker and toaster didn't work. Cold eggs, bad coffee, no Téa or hot water. In the end the breakfast was, at best, worth $5/person. Not $20! Most hotels would have included a breakfast like this in the hotel price.
