ONE NIGHT

Friendly staff, food was ok. Dirty glasses in room, sticky surfaces, back door to garden area was wide open on arrival and didn’t shut properly allowing door smoke from garden area to filter in. Clock had not been reset to BST and so was showing time as an hour earlier - pretty significant if you are rising at 4 am. Evening meal was ok - took 45 minutes to get it though. Even place setting had cutlery in wrong place. Am I being fussy? Location is good for park and ride to airport but there are a lot of other good hotels in the area - I’ll not be back.

Loved it

This is really nice hotel. Only 15 mins from shopping centre and big lovely park Lovely swimming pool which was a great temperature!! The staff were so lovely and friendly, professional and made sure we got everything we needed. Lady on reception is lovely and was rushed off her feet the day we checked in yet was so lovely and apologetic. Wee guy ( might have been manager or something) was so good with my niece as well I'll defo be back

Hotel was ok. Only had one night booked so I didn’t have any food other than breakfast. Breakfast was decent and the staff were helpful. One thing I will say is I could hear the conversations through the walls on either side of my room. Didn’t affect me too much but I am aware that could affect a light sleeper or potentially be very annoying. Shower curtain in my room was not clean. I can see past any decor that can be dated but I think having stains on the shower curtain is something that shouldn’t be a thing. It stops the feeling of cleanliness in the bathroom. I didn’t use the gym or pool but it did look like fun.

All of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and enthusiastic in the hotel. Food was really great - had the steak at dinner and breakfast had a really great selection available. The Executive room was spacious, very clean and had a very large bed. Only down side - there was no lift, but a member of staff helped with our luggage. A really great stay and look forward to returning in the future!

Lovely stay, but the wine list needs improving.

The room was a good size and was well laid out. The bathroom gave plenty of space to put your toiletries. The staff were very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. My only issue was, that a hotel, the size of this one, their wine list was pretty pathetic. There was only one Rose and a Prosecco. There were I think 4 types of red and four of white. I drink Rose and the one they had, is the one I dislike the most, so I had to change to a white. Was extremely disappointed.

The stay was ok. We had no hot water for the first day and a half which wasn’t ideal and we had a few issues with the room. Rooms weren’t very soundproof either so we were woken quite a few times by different parties passing our door at 3am. We had a patio door out to the garden which was great for the dog, and the reception were helpful when we had room issues. The restaurant was empty on the Friday night when we chose to dine there, but the food was really underwhelming for the price that it was.

Sale et décevant

Réceptionniste très agréable et prévenante à l'arrivée. Nous avons eu quelques déconvenues qu'elle a géré à merveille, nous étant d'une grande aide notamment quand nous avons réalisé que nous avions été dans une chambre où les draps étaient sales. Clairement, ils n'avaient pas été changés depuis les anciens clients (draps froissés, tâchés avec des cheveux et poils de partout). Les erreurs arrivent et nous pouvons le comprendre. La réceptionniste nous a installé dans une nouvelle chambre aux draps propres, merci encore à elle pour sa réactivité. Cependant, il est important de souligner que le Housekeeping ne semble pas le point fort de cet hôtel, il y avait dans notre nouvelle chambre propre, beaucoup de poussière (plinthes, lampe de chevet, bureau) et 2 grosses toiles d'arraignées au dessus du lit. Au check-out (avec une personne différente), pas un mot d'excuse supplémentaire, nous avions payé en avance donc pas de geste commercial, mais nous aurions au moins aimé qu'on nous demande comment notre séjour s'était passé pour "rattraper" un peu l'expérience négative de la veille, cela me semble être la moindre des choses. Merci encore à la réceptionniste du Check-in qui était le seul highlight de cet hôtel.
