Amazing views, right above the gorgeous Duoro River. Fabulous staff, breakfast delivered to room each morning. Location is a bit remote, requiring driving crazy mountain roads to get anywhere….but worth it!

Great place to stay! Starting from the staff that were really nice and welcoming. Perfect size room with small kitchen, and balcony to enjoy the beautiful view of Douro River. Breakfast is delicious and served in your room. I highly recommend to stay at Portovella Lodges and Bungalows when visiting this part of Douro Valley!

Beautiful property with breathtaking views at the west entrance to Duro valley . We stayed in the family suite with 2 full bathrooms and a small kitchen which was very convenient and large. Citrus trees on the property were blooming and the fresh scent was amazing. Fresh Breakfast was delivered to the unit. I highly recommend this place.

This property is really well managed and cared for. The view from the bungalow we stayed in was beautiful and made the stay very special. Breakfast is delivered daily and was very good. Spectacular. The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are spacious and clean, bathroom is big and luxurious. We arrived early hoping to drop off our things but were allowed to check in early which we appreciated. Anna at the front desk was very helpful when we tried to make last minute reservations for wineries and had good suggestions for local establishments. Breakfast was served to the room and included eggs, cheese, fruit, sweets - everything you can dream of! We had a great time and would love to come back
