The hotel is perfect for a solo NYC getaway and for families, couples, and friends seeking a centrally located hotel in Manhattan.
I love that the hotel is a 2min walk from Whole Foods and train stations. The continental breakfast gets the job done and offers scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage, bagels, potatoes, muffins, a greek yogurt bar, oatmeal, and plain lettuce for the mini salad bar. Could use more veggies, in my opinion, but it was a breakfast. The coffee and tea selection was excellent! They offered oat and almond milk in addition to regular half-and-half.
I liked their 2nd-floor terrace to eat and lounge. Wifi was reliable and fast.
My room was super clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I loved the natural lighting I had from my window. The bathroom was clean. The room offered recycling for paper and cans! AMAZING. I loved staying in my Standard King Room.
Cons: 2nd Elevator was down, so the wait for the only other elevator took about 10-12ish minutes. For that reason, I decided to take the stairs down for part of my stay. Thankfully, I was on the 18th floor and the walk down the stairs took roughly 8minutes to get down. I highly recommend asking for a room on the lower levels. I was originally placed on the 41st floor, and the kind concierge happily helped me find a room closer to the ground levels.
The elevator is pretty small and can fit max 7 or 8 people comfortably.
Overall, I think it was a pretty good stay.
