I arrived at the hotel 6 hours before check in - I utilized the bag drop service; and the reception offered to put my room on the priority list for housekeeping and would call me once it was done to allow an early check in (great offer!) - So I went for a walk for a coffee (C1 in the area) - then around the sights - until approximately 14:00 - asked for an update and my bag (needed something out of it) - and was advised it wasn't ready yet; and it could be put on the priority list! I advised I was told this, the reception took a moment then had a room for me. Annoying, failure one.
The hotel was quiet, tidy, comfortable and in high quality the room perfect, bathroom great, hot water solid pressure and heat, AC/heating in the room; fresh air option (windows), usual amenities - however empty minibar! with a sign that i could only call to the room service but it wasn't 24/7 - lost opportunity there! - issue 2.
First evening had a dinner at the resturant on site - 15 of us Bloody Mary's the waitress (American lady, on her birthday was AMAZING; attentive, engaging with the table and kept us all with full drinks and clearing empties etc top tier! The meal however - the steaks, all overcooked from talking to 6 of the table; I ordered the Wagyu Steak (the A5/top tier) expecting high quality preperation for a medium - it came out near well, and definitely wasn't Wagyu - however, the entree (venision pastry dish was top tier; perfectly served) - not enough charaters - TLDR -not ok
