The only two positives I can mention about this hotel are the location and the staff. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach and the center of Nice, which is very convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly, responsive, and did their best to accommodate my requests and concerns.
Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The hotel itself is very dated and clearly in need of renovation. The bathroom was extremely small, and the toilet area was so cramped I had to open the door just to get dressed(I am slim). It's not suitable for two people, as there’s no privacy—everything can be heard throughout the room.
The towels were old and stained, and the pillows were uncomfortably hard, making it difficult to get proper rest. Despite the high prices, the hotel doesn’t invest in maintaining or improving the quality. Basic amenities like body lotion and slippers weren’t provided. The breakfast was very basic for $15, though they offered a small discount to $12.
I couldn’t wait to leave, and unfortunately, staying here put a damper on my overall experience in Nice.
Think carefully before booking—while the location is great, the condition of the hotel can ruin your trip, especially for travelers looking for comfort, value, or a relaxing stay.
