The hotel is conveniently located near St. Pauli's bars and clubs (and more dodgier scenes) but stands in stark contrast to them, with a modern, elegant and extremely trendy design and vibe.
This applies to the fusion of modern materials and colors with the old industrial red brick and large arched windows, as it does to the lobby and hippest lively bar that was completely full on the weekend nights, with a dj, Japanese food and creat cocktails.
Rooms are beautiful too and comfortable. We were in the Splash room which we loved, but for those looking for complete privacy - beware: the AMAZING bath tub IS open to the rest of the room (the toilet, however, isn't). And we would have loved to have a few more channels in English on TV.
