Great hotel…but the pigeons!!
This is a lovely hotel, and all the staff are really friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious, and the pool was very nice.
The food on offer is fairly limited and the only downside - and it is a big one - there are several pigeons which not only annoy everyone as they fly around the pool area, but they constantly came into the dining/bar area.
On several occasions during breakfast the pigeons would walk into the bar area as people were eating breakfast, and on more than one occasion I saw a pigeon fly onto the bar and peck away at food which formed part of the buffet breakfast laid out waiting for guests to eat.
It’s a recipe for food poisoning, and often this was right in front of staff members who didn’t seem to appreciate the serious health risks this presents.
