we arrived at the motel after midnight, 2 rooms with 2 beds each. The lobby was messy, and there were medication bottles that belonged to the person working the desk out on the guest table, and she told us that they were overbooked, so she had needed to force someone else to leave in order to have our rooms clean in time. She was visibly confused and kept making simple mistakes. Once we received our keys (which needed to be rekeyed twice), my son and I checked into one room, and my friend and her daughter checked into the room next door. My room had not been cleaned. There were body hairs in the bed, and the sheets and linens were freshly stained. There was blood splatter on the CEILING, there were dog prints on the floor, dirty towels in the bathroom, and the trash cans were full. We ended up staying next door in my friend's room (so we had to share beds), and there were also stains on the bedding, what appeared to be vomit on the ceiling and wall near the door. We got through the night and were woken up when someone walked into the room at 7:30am. We went to the lobby to complain, the clerk literally behaved as though she was on heavy pain medication, and she refused to give us a refund. We will be taking this further to make sure we receive our money back. Photos attached.
