A new gem!
I have never stayed at a property where the staff was so kind and totally focsed on service. From the manager, front desk staff, to housekeeping they are happy to make every effort to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is new so the signage wasn't up yet but it was still easy to find. It is in pristine condition and the location couldn't be better. It is under 7 minutes walk to the Acropolois, Roman Agora, Hadrians Library, and the Metro. Do yourself a favor and add in the breakfast. Delicious and generous. I highly recommend Esse!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, modern, and immaculately clean. What truly made our stay memorable was the manager on site. Not only was she attentive and welcoming, but she went above and beyond to show us around, ensuring we knew all the amenities and highlights of the room. Highly recommend!

Terrible service I will not return
Booked and specified two beds. They acknowledged “Warm greetings from Esse Athens. Kindly note that you are assigned to a room with two beds. The Front Desk Team” They only had one bed one arrival not two. So they moved us to another room that still only had one bed! Refused to give a good rate on an open room so I left my friend there and found a different hotel for the second bed. Absolutely ridiculous poor service.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The hotel itself has been only open for a short period of time. The room and the bathroom updated and modern. Fay the hotel manager and staff were incredibly helpful and helping us make accommodations for future travel. She was very attentive and went over beyond in service. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will come back!

ESSE is Essential in Athens!
Hotel and staff are 5stars! Fay is an INCREDIBLE Manager amd Hostess and made sure we were having the best time and that our travel arrangement for ferries were executed to perfection. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern (brand new) but the staff exceeded all expectations! Location is perfection in Plaka! 5⭐️

Amazing. Stayed here Sept, 2024. Great location, walking distance to Acropolis and other monuments. Friendly staff, best customer service, went extra miles to make sure everything went well, even got breakfast at night since we were leaving early next morning. Included great breakfast at restaurant next door. Well kept rooms. Unique shower stall with 2 sets of showers & a electrically heated towel warmer.

The Esse has only been open for a couple of weeks and as such does not yet have a restaurant or bar. They still need to do some modifications so the shower doesn’t leak water unto the bathroom floor. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is well located in the Plaka so there are plenty of shops and restaurants all around. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was amazingly and very helpful. Love Faye she is awesome! It’s a rather new hotel so everything was shiny and new. Très bel hôtel, situation et accueil parfaits!
Séjour parfait au Esse Athens. L'hôtel est très bien placé, dans Plaka et à la frontière du quartir animé de Monastiraki. Tout est faisable à pied depuis l'hôtel, l'environnement est très sûr. Le personnel est très aimable et fait tout son possible pour rendre le séjour parfait! mention spéciale à Andreas qui est d'une grande gentillesse, ainsi qu'à tous le reste du personnel qui nous a donné beaucoup de conseils. Le petit déjeuner dans le restaurant annexe est de grande qualité et délicieux. Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour votre visite de la capitale grecque!

Somos un grupo de 8 mujeres mayores que llegamos en dos tiempos . El personal fue extremadamente amable y el hotel nos pareció nuevo , muy confortable, muy agradable con hermosas vistas . Un puntito a mejorar es que el restaurante está fuera de la propiedad y hay que caminar unos pasos pero la comida deliciosa y todo fue maravilloso . Muy recomendable
