The hotel is in a good location. Walking distance or good public service links to all the tourist attractions. Although sold as a hotel there were no services5

It was walkable to everything we wanted to see in Rome, and there were restaurants and stores nearby. The staff were friendly, our room was very spacious and clean. The building looked like it was still being renovated in places but it was quiet and it was tidy.

Great location, a bit dated, but good bed and bathroom. Very noisy building and surrounding streets.

Pleasantly surprised, this price is great hotel for the value. Very clean and comfortable. Great location. For our quick 2 night stay in Rome, it was perfect.

The place is a small boutique hotel, perfectly located walking distance to all exceptionally clean safe. Remember you go away to see the country or the city not to live in a hotel. I recommend this place for great places to stay if your bougie and need to sit in your hotel room all day all week and this is the place is not for you

The elevator is to small , and the building was under renovation, but the staff was very helpful.
4-night trip

Upon check-in, we were greeted by Luca at the front desk. He was very friendly and informative, providing maps and directions for us. The room had been recently renovated, the linens, bed and pillows were all very comfortable. The hotel seemed to be very clean. A strange thing though, our room was up on the fifth floor and they had the security door on that floor locked. We couldn’t get out. We had to use an extra key to unlock the main doors to the floor to exit in the morning. It was a difficult to use the key and unlock the floor security doors. Its not a good idea in case of emergency or fire. They put us in a wheelchair accessible room, which we did not need. It had a roll in shower with no walls. Every time we showered, we ended up flooding the bathroom. We walked from the train station and it was difficult to find the hotel.

I spent 3 nights, great location from the Metro. I explored Rome from morning until night. Good place to stay if you are just looking for a place to sleep. If your are one of those individuals that wants a nice comfortable place to relax and spend a lot of time in the room(this is not for you).

For the price you pay it’s not too bad. Just wish the air conditioner worked a little better for the heat in Rome we had

Domus is a small hotel within a much larger building which is being refurbished. So some noise/dust in the entry way of the building. Elevator is small. Reception staff, especially Francisco was very welcoming and helpful. Room is a good size w/nice size tv. Bed is a bit on the firm side for me. Otherwise hotel is good value in a great location. JQ

The photos advertised are jot what the place looks like inside. Cracked tiles, room so small you can touch the walls form sitting on the bed. Table and wardrobe in the room but doors of wardrobe hit bed so couldnt fully open, same with table chair under table but unable to pull out because of bed. Very cramped.
3-night trip

4/10

Hotel Domus Rome is located at a busy street with alot of traffic and bars, the building is not good isolated so we heard everything. Most annoying were sirens or mc bikes speeding in the middle of the night and people partying/screaming, disturbing our sleep But it was located really central so we could easily walk to most of the big monuments.
4-night trip

8/10

The location was convenient to the rail station and the airport buses, as well as dining and sightseeing. The only issue we had was trying to find the property because the signage was very small and the entrance didn’t look like the entrance to the hotel as two other hotels were advertised with big signage at the same location and there was some renovation work going on the bottom floor.
2-night trip

4/10

Looks nothing like photos. Rooms are so basic and definitely feels like a 1 star. When we arrived we were given budget room even though we paid for triple so had to ask for this. Ok hotel if you dont care about your room Air con and location is good. City tax way too expensive for the hotel
3-night trip

4/10

Great location, but the rooms are very old. The bath had stains in it (not dirty, just old) and a rusted nail next to the shower head. Room had huge vaulted ceilings which was cool, and a big air con for the summer heat. Walls were in pretty bad condition, very scuffed and clearly hasn’t been retouched in a few years. Lots of potential here, just needs a lick of paint and a bathroom refit, bones are good, Staff was nice at check in, but no one was at reception from 4-6AM when we needed to check out.
1-night trip

8/10

If you’re just looking for a place to sleep and shower Hotel Domus is a good pick. Nothing fancy about the facilities but is in a good location where you can walk to many major landmarks and shopping areas. The first night our A/C wasn’t working. The staff were unable to fix it that night, but had someone fix it the next day while we were out sightseeing. There was also only one working iron in the hotel that you had to check out from the front desk, but it was always available when we needed it. Again, if you’re just showering and sleeping, would recommend.
2-night trip

2/10

If you are looking only for a place to sleep in close proximity to the train and sights of Rome, this place will do the trick. If you are looking for anything else, I’d continue your search. The entire building is under construction, with the hotel being on the second floor giving the appearance of a pop-up hotel or dorm able to be moved over night if necessary. Beds are uncomfortable, shower pressure good, but limited hot water and drain plugs up. The safe isn’t affixed to anything, and you can literally walk right in from the street, to the hotel hallway with only a front desk night attendee as security. Not a comfortable stay.
