I surprised my boyfriend with this hotel for his 30th. The images looked amazing on the website, and when we arrived we were totally over the moon.
The hotel was something else, 5* service, Michelin restauraunt, beautiful decor, very scenic and peaceful location, it was a true romantic getaway, tucked away in the vineyards.

The hotel is located in the heart of the old town. The charming building has well appointed rooms - nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. We were traveling by car and they helped us with instructions for parking and getting the shuttle to and from the hotel. The breakfast was served in the restaurant nearby and was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

The view from room 602 (Mini-Suite) was jaw dropping and enhanced by the cloudless blue sky, mill pond view of the lake and a backdrop of the mountains with snow caps.
Hotel staff were exceptional in their attention to detail from the staff at reception and throughout the facility to the unsung heroes who ensured our stay was without any low points.

We stayed here for 3 nights for part of our honeymoon. It definitely is 5 star. The room was fantastic and I would recommend booking a room with a lake view if possible. The view from our balcony was amazing. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the staff were very friendly.

Overall, best location, for all major attractions and more importantly for us the the family run hotel itself exceeded our expectations, the room was spacious and great views to the lake. Breakfast had a great choice for everyone. The staff were very helpful planning our day trips and there for you as and when needed. Special thank you to Victoria, Giuseppe and her team for planning our Milan day trip and also for picking us up from the train station when we struggled getting taxi. You went out...

We had a lovely one night stay at Hotel Vita. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was large, clean and well appointed. The car park is large. There is an electric vehicle charging point, which you pay for on departure. The bar area is nice and there is a great pool area with loungers. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk into Salo. There is a very busy road which runs past it so highly recommend a lake view room if you don't want road noise.

We stayed in a standard room with balcony and it was a lovely size with a big bathroom. Comfortable beds too. Room was cleaned and beds made every day. Breakfast was really sweet, same table reserved every day. Everything you needed at breakfast as well as being offered espresso, cappuccino or a freshly squeeze orange juice. With so many hotels to choose from we finally settled on booking Corte Valier. We were not disappointed! Clean, modern (but in a classy way) great breakfast, great spa area, not too busy...
Although the north is more dramatic, in Lazise you are away from the tourists and you can still catch a bus or taxi to the north for the afternoon if you wish.
For relaxation and re-charging you batteries this is 5/5.

Really great feeling about hotel. Staff particularly helpful and friendly. Can you book me a taxi?. Can you find me a decent restaurant? Can I have extra towels?. Everything answered quickly and politely, some five star hotels would do well to be this polite. If you are used to five star hotels, this will not disappoint. Rooms very clean, good size, pool beds really excellent, food and drinks excellent and very reasonably priced.

We were lucky to be upgraded to the new spa rooms which are excellent. spacious and well equipped.
Location is beautiful with stunning views high up over lake Garda and if you want to get away from it all, its ideal.
Dining options were good but some staff were new, food was good but more every day options would be good for residents
Could benefit from a social area, bar or similar
Be prepared for a 20 minute mountain road drive to access the hotel and visit Gargnano

To truly appreciate the town's historical landmarks and cultural attractions, such as the picturesque lake, charming castle, and quaint library, it is recommended to stay for at least 3 to 4 days. This duration allows visitors to leisurely explore the beautiful countryside, take a ferry ride, and indulge in the luxury of local spas, all while enjoying great value for money. Prices may drop during these months, making it an ideal choice for those seeking an affordable getaway.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover cheap hotel deals in Salò, start by exploring the Dealsopens in new window and Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you could stay informed about flash sales and special last-minute promotions, helping you seize opportunities to save. Additionally, utilise the Smart Shopping tool in the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re well-informed. If rooms become available or prices drop, you're more likely to be the first to know, making booking a last-minute getaway more accessible.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a better deal on your stay in a hotel in Salò. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable.
Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Salò's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a little further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money available. Opting for these alternative locations might provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
