If you are looking for somewhere cheap compared to the other hotels in Sorrento, then this is perfect. Good bathroom, bed a little too firm, reasonably clean. The beds are made everyday but the sheets were not changed for the whole week of our stay. Breakfast is brought to your room at the time you specify (but frequently at a time you didn't specify) and consists of a very poor cappuccino, tepid and tastes like it came out of a sachet, together with a croissant, or rather what may have been a croissant before it was almost cremated in a microwave oven with a little of unidentifiable goo inside it, and a glass of squash. The place is not a hotel but rather an apartment block where each apartment is divided into four rooms. Some may have a kitchen or a balcony. The man who runs the place is not talkative. The woman who seems to organise breakfast and hand you your keys is friendly enough, but neither of them speak a single word of English. They are south americans and can speak spanish. Communication was very difficult at the best of times. In fact most of the time you cannot get hold of them although they live in the apartment block itself. So if you have an issue, it is not easy to get it resolved. In summary, don't expect quality and you won't be disappointed. It is conveniently located. No more than a short walk to the centre of Sorrento where all the shops and restaurants are. On that note, most restaurants are very poor unless you pay a small fortune for a meal.
