It's just on top of the Sendai Station, which is very convenient to travel around. The room is clean and modern, with a large shower booth and bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay for our 3 nights in Sendai! Loved the hospitality and proximity to the train station. My boyfriend and I hopped off a 11-hr flight and took the shinkansen straight to Sendai, so it was really nice to have the hotel so close and check-in to be so seamless. We also had an amazing view of the city.

Environmental protection or cost saving?

Hotel location is good as it links to JR station. For the room cleaning, it has default you don't need it unless you press the room cleaning button the night before. I ended up forgot to press the button and when I returned to the room, no one tidy up the room, no water with trash staying there. While I also stayed in the same chain hotel in Akita, the way they did it is far more better. They assume you'll need room cleaning unless you told them you don't. Hope the Sendai East hotel can rethink this so called "environmental protection policy" and improve their services.

Our stay at the Metropolitan was great. We did have a little issue finding the hotel since there are two Metropolitan Hotels near Sendai Station. Make sure you go for the Metropolitan East.

This was my third stay at Metropolitan East Sendai. Elegant, modern, and comfortable. Fair-size room, comfortable bed, luxury bath facility in the room. Directly connected to Sapporo's main station, which is a large shopping and eating mall, with highrise department stores and offices all around. My only complaint is the lack of towels - only one bath towel and one face towel, if you are staying by yourself. Adequate until one gets wet and you need a dry towel and have to call the front desk. (This is done under the guise of "ecology" - "greenwashing" is more likely, in my opinion!)
