A good place to stay but could use some upkeep
This hotel is managed by the same people as the HI Express across the highway from it. We stay here frequently while travelling on business. This place has a good, slightly upscale, feel to it. We have been satisfied staying here on numerous occasions. There have been a few issues, like no hot water in some of the rooms, loud stomping at all hours in the room above us, or sometimes just annoying things like faucets not tighted down very well. The rooms are mostly good, but occasionally we find one that seems a bit abused and lacking in maintenance. We don't usually eat breakfast here, but recently got vouchers for breakfast and the made to order breakfast was good. There are plenty of options for eating in the area, though Windsor lacks in good dining compared to nearby towns.

Hair all over the bathroom floor and toilet. Stains on the carpet. Finger prints and smudges all over the kitchen cabinets. Only one fork in the silverware drawer. No napkins. Not enough towels or pillows. What appeared to be a bloodstain on the blanket for the pullout couch.

My room wasn’t clean there were wrapper paper on the floor. Last guest left bakery goods inside of the ice bucket. I went down to get a new one and they said someone will bring it to me and no one ever did. Fantastic property, great location ,new, modern and well appointed. The rooms are quite large with very comfortable linens, pillows and mattress. Front desk staff extremely professional and helpful. Onsite bar and grill is a nice option.

Worst breakfast.
The hotel itself is nice. However this was one of the WORST breakfasts included. No bread, bagels, cereal and the meats were soooo greasy! Hot water was barely hot in the morning. Shampoo etc. Only enough for one person. Super disappointed with the stay overall.
