This was such a surprise find on our trip to Ireland. Perched on top of a hill overlooking the rolling hills of Ballycastle and the ocean. You could not find a better view for dinner. Our room was nice and quiet, meals were great and easy to reserve. Staff was exceptional.

Serene and calm with great views from the bar. The room was spacious and neutral, a few signs of wear and tear but more than sufficient for a one night stay. Every member of the hotel team was active and attentive, nobody was idle. My room opened directly on to the courtyard, which was novel. A delightful surprise were the hotel cats who appeared outside my door before breakfast.

Upon arrival our room was quite dirty however, the front desk staff addressed it immediately and sent in cleaners to tidy up. The location is stunning. The breakfast was great as was our dinner at the Lookout. The mattresses were really hard though, like sleeping on concrete. Only spent one night.

The view and facilities at this hotel are excellent but the real star has to be the staff who go above and beyond in all aspects of your stay, reception staff are just wonderful. Spa is quiet and tranquil nothing extravagant but enough to relax and very private. Bar and restaurant staff were always friendly and helpful.

We had a perfect stay at the Salthouse. It has a lovely atmosphere. From the welcoming staff and delicious food. Superb breakfast, we loved the presentation. My husband & i where there for a relaxing weekend & thats exactly what we got. Everything about this place is amazing. They are extending it atm & i cannot wait to go back & see what the new facilities are. The spa is small but adequate, so relaxing. Views from the hot tub are amazing.

We had a meal in the main restaurant which was very good value and delicious. What also impressed us was breakfast served to your table meaning it was freshly cooked and hot.
