Missing appliances

Room was clean but blah visually. No color, headboard & wall paint were the exact same. No hair dryer nor coffee pot in my room & when I asked at the front desk, no coffee in the lobby or available on the weekends. Huh?!?!?! Really, on the weekends???

Disappointing- Not worth it.

I went to the Marriott Northlake because the location was perfect as being close to Mercer University. Despite other hotels being around, I picked the Marriott because it's supposed to be better than the others that were around. Well, I was wrong. The a/c in the room wasn't working to the point me being drenched in sweat woke me up every night. The internet went out on the 2nd night and getting connected was impossible. There were a few guests in the lobby with the same complaint. Pros: there was plenty of parking and the have access doors around the building so it doesn't matter where you park you don't have to necessarily go through the lobby. There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby.

Not a real Courtyard

I’m not sure how long this place has been a Courtyard by Marriott, but clearly not very long. It’s being updated, my room was 90% finished but there were a few items that were obviously not. My daughter’s room on the 2nd floor was, in her words, a trip back to the 90s. The rate was very good for a Courtyard but there were several places nearby with a similar rate and equally nice brands. They also had a couple of charges automatically applied that were definitely not in the manner of a Courtyard

Caution with parking on property

During my stay, my vehicle was broken into (smashed rear right window), not the property's fault, but still an immense let down when I asked about camera footage. Do not leave anything in your vehicles overnight. The staff are great, but I never heard from the manager as I'd been told I would, regarding the theft.

Like the hotel location and the room, However very bad service & no elevators, carts were so small that you can’t fit 1 air bag. You have to carry all the bag on second floor imagine doing that at 1AM with kids and toddlers. Rooms very far and have to walk all the way. We stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days, (2 rooms) we had NO room service inspite of telling 5 times, we had to go and ask the receptionist for towels, paper towels, trash bag etc which we did for multiple time and still no room service. I told the receptionist that this is my 5th time asking for room service and she said “ok” Not good for more than 1night.

1. the key of the room assigned on my arrival was inoperative 2. the room to which I was subsequently transferred was improperly isolated from the neighboring room (the door allowing internal access to the neighbor) could not be locked. Fortunately a repairman was able to repair the lock that same evening, 3. on the morning of the third day, I requested that my room be serviced. On my arrival back to the hotel that evening (after a long tiring day of work) I was disappointed to find that the room had not been serviced, 4. on the morning of the fourth day, I again requested that the room be serviced. I was again disappointed that the bed had not been prepared although the room had been cleaned. The excuse was apparently that the cleaning people thought that I had already ended my stay at the hotel. The lady at the front counter was very apologetic and tried to be as helpful as possible (she was most respectful) and transferred me to another room, 5. the new room was pleasant until I discovered that the bathroom sink was partially plugged. 6. the side entrance from the parking lot was inoperative, thus forcing a long roundabout walk via the main hotel entrance I emphasize that the entire staff were most embarrassed by all these issues and were as helpful as possible in attempting to resolve all the encountered problems. I was happy to leave the hotel
