This place might have been nice 20 years ago, but has deteriorated drastically since. No sauna or steam room or hot tub. They did exist, but the out of order sign looks like it's been on the door for years. There's these random security/ staff people hanging around every corner ostensibly to help, but they will try to fleece you at every opportunity. $46 to wash 4 tshirts and 2 pairs of underwear and socks to be washed. It took 2 days and I had to ask for them repeatedly. The pool advertised that it was open from 7am to 9pm, I turn up at 8:30 am and the staff chased me away by pretending to clean the pool with that long stick thing, saying it opens at 9am, I returned at 6pm and was chased out by pouring what looked like bleach or chemicals next to where I was trying to swim, now telling me that they closed at sunset and not at 9pm. They also fleece you on parking $3 a night might not sound like much, but when you consider the local economy and the lack of public parking you'll understand what a ripoff it is.
All that is one thing but the state of the rooms and hallways is something else. There's dust in all the corners, chipped and pealing paint on every wall, toilet seats that won't stay open and slam shut so you have to hold it up while you go. It's just not up to the standard advertised. I'm not a snob. I have stayed in humbler accomodations and enjoyed them, heck I even enjoy camping and sleeping on the ground in the woods, but I don't enjoy being tricked.
