The way we were greeted was unbelievable! So there was some smoking before we made it(4 hour drive) we arrived, a lady at the front first words to us was “and if I smell any smoke in those rooms you will be charged for that” rudely! So we were like is this the way you greet your customers? She goes “yea if we smell smoke”. Mind you, we had kids staying in the rooms with us. Me, my sister n law, and kids rode all in the same car and my boyfriend and my sister n law gf(smoking) rode together! We know not to smoke in a hotel room! I don’t remember her name but she was so rude.

Bugs horrible

As soon as I walked in there were roaches running across the cabinets under the tv! Killed it. Went to dinner came back turned on the lights and bed bugs on the bed. I took pictures and video. No other rooms and it was late. They told me to contact you for a refund! The room also had a horrible odor. I have video of them on the bed. Just won’t upload. Victor was on shift that night May 9th. I want a refund

Opposite of picture

Did not look like pictures. Pool looked terrible, door was rust and rotting, lightin the pool was horrible, pool area needs an exhaust or ac was terrible. Room did not look like pictures. Bathroom door did was not able to shut all the way to lock.

Stayed 3 nights on the 3rd floor the only problems we had were the key cards didn’t work and we had to get different ones a couple of times. Also the room felt damp and made everything damp feeling ( shoes, clothes) enjoyed the breakfast but it was cold a couple of mornings the last morning was the best.

Needs upgrading.

The property is an older one, by has modern upgrades. The carpet and moisture did not mix. My room had a mildew smell to it. I had to leave the door open to circulate fresh air because of the mugginess. The breakfast was okay. The meat looked undercooked, but they had waffles and cereal too. The staff was amazing though.

Horrible hotel en Galveston

No lo recomiendo. Muy mala experiencia. Estuve recientemente en este hotel y fue una pésima elección. El servicio del personal fue terrible desde que llegamos, siempre de mal humor, siempre de mala gana, siempre haciéndote sentir que te están haciendo el enorme favor de permitirte hospedar en su hotel lleno de hongos, cucarachas, fallas eléctricas y malos tratos. La persona del front desk, el personal de limpieza y hasta los encargados mostraron cero interés en hacer de la estadía agradable o un poco más cómoda a pesar de las condiciones del hotel. Durante mi estancia se fue la luz, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, la luz parpadeaba y los aparatos como el microondas no dejaban de sonar cada que iba y venía la corriente (cada 2 minutos lo cual era muy desesperante. La habitación olía muy mal, una combinación de hongo, cloro y tierra. Todo el lugar se veía viejo y descuidado, claramente no le dan mantenimiento y contratan a cualquiera para atender. No es un lugar cómodo, amigable al turista ni con limpieza básica . No volvería y no lo recomiendo para nada. Hay opciones mucho mejores por el mismo precio. Contexto: que éramos un grupo de 8 personas que estaríamos ahí solo una noche para abordar un crucero el siguiente día. Es un hotel de paso que vive del turista que va a los cruceros y se aprovechan de que solo es una noche para brindar un mal servicio y no tener quejas ya que muchas veces la gente prefiere no reclamar al ser una sola noche, pero es nefasto.

Find another hotel

This was a five night stay. Three times during that stay the electricity went out, once for 8 hours during a storm. I looked at a power outage app for two of those outages and both times the report said the outages were affecting only one customer, and that customer was Quality Inn. It was very musty smelling in our room. There was no dehumidifier so the ac was cooling damp air which was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was a typical breakfast which included eggs over hard. Those were like rubber, the sausage was overcooked. They did have tangerines which were delicious. We did not have maid service and some front desk workers insisted we make an even exchange for towels. In other words they’d give me one wash cloth if I gave them one washcloth. That meant we had to bring all the used towels down to the desk rather than leaving them in the hall for the maid. Upon checkin on Tuesday we found one tv in our room was broken. It took two complaints and three days to get a working tv to replace the broken one. The water pressure in the shower was on the lower side of acceptable. We booked through hotels.com and were quoted a price including all taxes and fees. At checkout they added $10 onto our bill. Their excuse was that it was a fee for the safe which we never used. Three separate power outages and they wanted to add an extra into our bill! The night the power was out for 8 hours cost $200! Besides the tangerines I can say the bed was comfortable. I’d never go back.
