DO NOT STAY HERE

The room was filthy, the bedding was stained, the mattress was stained, the entire room smelled musty, the bathroom was really gross, it smelled rotten in the bathroom from the sink drain, we reserved a king bed and got 2 queens, at 12 am the electricity went off and on for over 45 minutes causing constant beeping from the microwave and air conditioning unit, we called front desk and were told only that the entire building was experiencing the outage and provided no other info or apology. Never had such a terrible experience for over $200 per night we expected much better. Never retuning.

Check in was quick and easy. The problem started when the power surges started. We didn't have air conditioning, the microwave kept beeping on and off, the elevators of course didn't work. The man working at the front desk was very scattered and didn't know what to do, a guest went out to call the power company. We were told the power company would be out to look at it at 5:00 a.m. and this all started around midnight. It was a miserable night.

Was everything we needed. Card keys seemed to deactivate quite a bit, but never a problem getting them reactivated. Would stay there again, it was convenient.

It wasn’t bad honestly the only thing I genuinely did not like per say would be the shower head, it was very rusty I would like to believe the hotel is getting enough traction and money for some form of update in the bathrooms? Which the bathroom itself wasn’t bad it’s just the faucet and the shower heads that looked gross. The room itself gave a nice beach vibe with the different color walls and pictures. The bed wasn’t bad either it slept fairly nice. The room all in all was actually very clean. You guys should give the cleaning staff a raise honestly because I did a walk through inspection and everything was spotless clean. The balcony view was very lovely being able to see the water from up top. The only other complaint would be the smells in the hallways.

I'm from Houston anytime I need to getaway this is where I go. The breakfast is the best I've ever had at a hotel and the rooms are always clean. It's right across the street from the beach.

It was dirty stains on blankets the AC fliter must been dirty cause feeling the effects of it. Scared to use pool seemed dirty. They offer washer and dryer but no detergent in the building to buy or to use. Food was bland had add alot salt to help.with taste and i hardly use salt. No butter avail. for toast. Same foods everyday nothing differnt and not alot options for fruit.

We arrived around 5pm, checked in and immediately let the front office know the ac wasn’t working. We went to dinner and when we returned I twas still not working. Set at 62 but blowing 80. Talked with LaLa and she was aggressive and defensive despite we had communicated several hours before about the ac. She was very rude and should not be a problem solver in her position. The other clerk was (I didn’t get her name) as trouble shooting however we were ready for bed. There were no other rooms available and after many phone calls, finally was able to get the manager on site. LaLa refused to put me in contact with manager. LaLa went to the back room and all of a sudden the smell of pot was in the lobby. No one else was around but my family, the clerk (I don’t know her name) and LaLa disappeared- probably to take a hit of her pot/vape. We left and was reimbursed our money after the manger agreed to the issue with the ac the next day. I hope LaLa learns from this event however management needs to consider training her in customer service and maybe lay off the vape. We are not confrontational people and we were doing our best to manage her issues. It was weird. Thank you for the reimbursement- please consider she may not be right for the job and certainly needs to work on her people skills.

No frequent housekeeping. We have to inform the reception that we want housekeeping and they send the next day. If you run out of bath soaps, tissue box, you need to go down and get it from the reception. The staff are rude and not friendly. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Almost every other tourist spots or restaurants are within 5-10 mins distance.
