It’s an amazing experience! Worth every single penny spent. 😁 Our sky villa, was beautiful!!! What a view!!! There is just one little issue, the beach club is not exclusive. People walk from the public half of the beach and use the beach club. When I asked our concierge about that, because I felt uncomfortable leaving my bag and belongings on the chair while enjoying the water, she said it was not supposed to happen, and offered to talk to security. The next morning, I saw people without the wristbands laying around and I witnessed a couple walking from the public beach with backpacks, paying the server right in front of me, to use the chairs. If the hotel wants to make money allowing non guests to use the beach club, just let the guests know about it, like they do allow outsiders to pay and enjoy the rooftop sunset ceremony and restaurants. That’s my only complaint and concern. Elixir’s breakfast is outstanding. All employees are very nice and friendly. We loved! The perfect place for a valentine’s week celebration. Do not miss the cleansing ceremony upon your arrival, it’s very special. I would recommend to anyone. Ps: it’s not a hotel for someone with difficulties to walk and move around irregular ground. Do not bring high heels, flat shoes is a must.

Wonderful hotel, horrible service.
Horrible service. Very polite but super indifferent staff and management. Out of 4 nights we had: 3 days with no hot water, and 2 days of construction in the room above us made it impossible to stay in the room or the Terence during the daytime. No way to order room service besides walking to the concierge desk since there was no reception/wifi in the rooms and the landline phone was broken…. And many other mishaps. ZERO HELP OR WILLINGNESS OF THE STAFF TO FIZ PROBLEMS. Wonderful hotel architecture, and horrible service. Definitely not what you would expect from an over 1000 usd a night hotel in Mexico.

Breakfast at Exilik good. Beach club closes at 5pm and no towels available anymore. Sunset was at 6:30-7pm. Beach looks dirty and water too. Other area in Tulum are better off. Asian restaurant just expensive but not qualitatively interesting.

Do not expect much for the price you are paying
I left the hotel completely disappointed. Paid 700 pounds for a night stay and the minimum you expect is great service. The room didn’t have hot water, no proper shower. Requested the outside hot tube to be cleaned at 16:30hrs (since was full of leaves) and after chasing the hotel many times, they send someone close to 22hrs when it was too late to experience the hot tube outside. The hotel offered misleading information about taxi prices, be aware, they charge an extortion for taxi fees, you can get better prices on the app InRide. Staff asks for tips every single time they do the slightest thing, even for preparing a drink behind a bar, it is not worth it the price you pay, I would definitely not recommend it. I left upset for not being able to experience the room fully.

Vale a pena se hospedar !!
O Hotel é muito pitoresco, sem dúvida vale demais a estadia. Muito rústico com iluminação apenas com velas no quartos. O bar de praia é fraco de atendimento e estrutura. Chegue cedo para pegar algum lugar. Os demais restaurantes, são lindos, mas extremamente caros. Respire e encare que vale a pena uma ida. Se precisar escolher, vá ao roof top tomar um drink e depois vá para o sushi. O restaurante mexicano é o mais fraco de comida. Não deixe de visitar a loja que fica ao lado da recepção e do museu que fica ao lado pela parte externa.

Azulik was our worst experience and stay in Mexico
During the check-in everything went nice the lady was nice, explained how everything would work and told us all about Azulik. She told us when we would check out we would be needing to return the bracelet at 11 and leave our luggage at the reception after the check out, and after that we would be able to keep our experience at Azulik and at the places outside of the main complex of the hotel (like the museums they have outside), we decided to enjoy our stay mostly in our room and at the beach bar since we didn’t want to use the car during the stay but only after checking out, so we asked if we could plan to enjoy the Sunset Experience on the check out day because it was raining during our stay and visit the museums after the check out, she confirmed it and just said that we should give our names on check out before going to the museums and the Sunset Experience. The stay in Azulik showed us that it’s only nice in the pictures, but there’s virtually nothing to do except the public beach and the bathtub in the room, it felt like we were inside a catalog of massage and saw nobody doing massages, just the massage people doing videos and posting which was the weirdest thing. There’s no pool in the hotel or gathering place. On check-out the gentleman was awfully rude and just told us he wouldn’t anything for us since we checked out almost expelling us from Azulik and told us to talk to the concierge lady that tried to sell us everything that was supposed to be included in stay.

PÉSIMO HOTEL!!! SI PIENSAS HOSPEDARTE AQUÍ LEE CON ATENCIÓN MI RESEÑA. Es un hotel que no debería estar operando o abierto al público en estas pésimas condiciones en las que se encuentra el hotel. Verdaderamente fue una pésima experiencia, no cuentan con corriente eléctrica estable (un empleado del hotel nos comentó que tienen 4 meses trabajando a marcha forzada con una planta de luz de emergencia y ya no funciona) por lo cual no hay agua en el hotel ni para usar el baño o para prender el aire acondicionado. La última una noche pésima sin ninguno de los servicios básicos que debe tener cualquier hotel por más básico que sea, el tema de la luz en los cuartos se entiende por el concepto ecofrienly pero la falta de electricidad hace que tu estancia sea pésima porque no puedes ni usar el baño ni bañarte ya que no sirven las bombas para el agua. En general el hotel tiene muy la mantenimiento el camino para ir a los cuartos está muy deteriorado y peligroso, una amiga que viajaba con nosotros se lastimó de gravedad el piel al caminar por esos palos. Al salir del hotel hablé con la hostess y me comentó que estaba enterada y que si quería poner mi queja ya que solo estaba el gerente de alimentos y bebidas y no el gerente general del hotel. No suelo hacer este tipo de reseñas jamás pero es importante que tomen cartas en el asunto ya que las condiciones en las que se encuentra el hotel son para que nos hayan CANCELADO LA RESERVA DESDE UN INICIO y nos hayan devuelto lo que pagamos.

The price-to-value ratio is far too high. The property positions itself as a 5-star luxury hotel; however, the service falls short and barely reflects 2 stars at best. The staff is unprepared to handle unusual situations, such as emergencies requiring urgent medical help. Travelers should keep in mind that it may take 30 minutes for an ambulance to arrive, and the staff seems unsure of what to do in the meantime. The prices at the restaurant and for other services are unreasonably high, which is evident in the Google ratings for the dining options. For morning yoga, the instructor didn’t show up, and the staff attempted to resolve this by asking a different staff member (who was not a yoga teacher) to lead the class. This was obvious to everyone and not a professional way to handle the situation. The staff also didn’t inquire about our satisfaction or request feedback, which speaks volumes. While the architecture of the property is spectacular, I recommend visiting the rooftop for a drink and sunset views rather than staying at the hotel itself—it simply isn’t worth it.

Visit but do not stay
I found the place massively disappointing, service was awful, standard rooms are very dated now and need a refresh and we couldn’t even check in until 5pm but yet they send me several messages on check out day to ensure I was out by 11am even after saying I wanted an extra hour due to the 2 hour delay at check in! No lighting is an issue, means the girls can’t do their makeup and to be honest it’s just dangerous as you can’t see a think, I even knocked a candle over as they are not secured to anything and as the entire place is wood that’s not ideal. The prices are ridiculous, Kin Toh cheapest main course is £60 and I’ve had a better pasta in Wetherspoons! Overall I was just very disappointed which was a huge shame, visit the museum or bar for your Insta pics but don’t stay here or eat here

Azulik - Avoidable
Mosquitoes in the room made life tough. No wifi made it difficult to communicate with staff for anything. Towels smell of spa oils. Not many options for dining. Overall experience was below expectations though staff is very helpful.
