Nice apartment with perfect location

Very good location, with subway and akropolis nearby. To the west is a not too touristy neighborhood with several cozy restaurants and bars. The apartment had a spacious balcony with a view of Parthenon, that was a perfect place for breakfast in the sun. (The picture is a bit misleading though, of what I think is a boat?)

Excellent location. Minutes walk to Acropolis. Close to cafes and restaurants. We paid for early check in but the code to the room wasn’t activated. I had to call and the gentleman was quick to the room to correct the issue. Keep in mind there isn’t a front desk situation:)

Enjoyed the close proximity to everything downtown- Management was very responsive to questions we had- Would stay there again- tight elevator was "kind of fun" but our (grown) children insisted on using the stairs- plenty of room with 3 balconies- one with Parthenon view. amazing week in Greece- thanks so much!!!!

The location is excellent — truly one of the best. However, there was no opportunity to meet any staff or employees in person. We received instructions for the room and door code via email. As is typical with many old buildings in Athens, the elevator only fits one person at a time. The overall maintenance felt outdated but dependable. Shampoo and conditioner were provided, but the dispensers didn’t work, making them unusable. The most shocking experience happened on the first night. While we were sleeping, a couple opened our door and entered the room. It was past 11 PM, and we were extremely startled. This is a serious safety issue. The couple, who seemed to be Americans in their mid-60s (based on assumption), were also very embarrassed. We complained to the hotel, and they apologized the next day, saying it was a system error. The apology was only verbal — sent via email — and they said they would send wine as an apology, but that promise was never fulfilled. The listing advertised a view of the Acropolis, but not all rooms have this. Our room had no view, as it faced the narrow space between buildings. In the end, the location was the only good thing about this place. We’ll choose a different place next time..

A very large, comfortable apartment -- with a large patio with a lovely view of the Parthenon. The building is near enough to the plaka to enjoy its many pleasures, but on a quieter street that allowed for uninterrupted sleep. We would heartily recommend this apartment to those travelling with families as well.

What a apartment, gentleman upgraded us to a luxury apartment where we had everything, 3 balconies, 2 bedrooms with full kitchen; the view of Acropolis from the balcony is stunning esp. at night, you come out of the apartment and you are in the heart of old town, to Acropolis was about 6 minutes walking, they give you instructions thru whatsapp how to check in, easy and automated system! There are lotsa car rental offices around in case you need to rent a car, I would definitely stay again.

Location is good, but terrible otherwise. Host didn't send codes to access building and apartment 24 hrs in advance as described. After I landed in Athens, I emailed and texted multiple times on the way to the place. No response. After got to the place, banged on building door in the middle of night in a new city, no response! Finally got him on the phone to get the codes. He upgraded me to a bigger apt, but it was still bad. Bathroom was in terrible condition, tiny, walls were dirty with stains around the toilet, water splashed out on the floor when showering no matter how careful you were. It was so slippery I fell and hurt myself. Heater didn't work. Neither did wall AC unit. Host turned on heat remotely. Kind of creepy. Even more creepy was the automatic door lock activated multiple times each night, making noise loud enough to wake you up. I thought someone was trying to break in. Be aware getting a room with balcony is pointless because all you see from the balcony are walls, trash and metal stairs.

The reviews might've been a bit misleading. Although it was an alright place to stay, it wasn't what we had in mind based off the pictures. We found some hairs and other stuff stuck to the toilet seat, and the coffee table had something sticky left on it. The bedding wasn't comfortable, and the street noise kept us up most of the night. The shower temperature is not consistent as any time the toilet or tap was used in our apartment or other apartments around us, it would change the water to either scalding hot or freezing cold. The "lobby" smelled terribly of incense. Glad we only booked for two nights here before moving on. The best part about it was the location being close to the Acropolis.
