Overall, the hotel is very pleasant and well-presented. However, our room (35) had virtually no water pressure in the shower, which was frankly shocking. It’s difficult to understand how a room in this condition is still being offered to guests in 2025. In contrast, our family’s room had a newly renovated bathroom and functioned perfectly well, so the difference was quite stark.
Additionally, although we arrived late, the check-in process was unnecessarily slow. Despite having emailed a month in advance to confirm that we were bringing our dog—and receiving acknowledgment of this—the hotel initially claimed no dog-friendly rooms were available. While they eventually accommodated us, we were told our dog would need to be on her “best behaviour,” which felt unnecessarily pointed given the prior arrangements.
