Very well located hotel next to Washington Square and Greenwich Village. Our room, on the 8th floor, gave us a beautiful unobstructed view of the One World Trade Centre. Our room, a Deluxe room, was a good size with a fairly large entrance area. The bathroom was a good size, with the downside that there was only one small washbasin for this type of room (Deluxe Room). The hotel reception area is very pleasant, with large sofas and a fireplace giving a cosy, warm atmosphere. The Marlton hotel is an old building, which gives it a certain style; it has been decorated in keeping with the codes of old hotels (wood panelling, comfortable sofas, etc etc). Have a look at the wikipedia of the Marlton Building and this hotel has a little history! The breakfast included is very good with a choice of 4 dishes, coffee and orange juice, extras are to be expected eg scrambled eggs, bacon etc etc ... but what is offered is more than enough before leaving to wander around New York. The breakfast staff are friendly, smiling and very helpful.
