Clean; very friendly staff; for check-in and check-out no direct contact with front desk needed but works very well; simple accommodation; affordable; shared toilet is very clean; when other guests walk down the hall it can be a bit noisy, so bring ear-plugs if you are noise sensitive; I did not book breakfast (8,50€ until 9:30 AM) but it looked and smelled nice from a distance; public transport and supermarkets are in short walking distance; recommended for the budget traveler!

If you are looking for an affordable and clean place to stay away from the city center, the Aracade Hostel is a great option. It is located off a main road, but I didn't notice any noise (other than from the family next door.) The bed was also very comfortable! I took a taxi to and from the airport and it was about 27 euro each way and took less than 20 minutes.

I feel very comfortable and had good sleep at night, very calm and noise free place and also cleanliness. Just one thing I want to mention about there is no attach bath in the room. It’s a separate on a different side. All in all I am satisfied with the stay.

Die Unterkunft lässt sich mit den Öffis sehr gut erreichen. Der Bahnhof Stellingen ist 10-15min zu Fuß erreichbar oder 1 Haltestelle mit dem Bus. Gerade für Konzerte in den Arenen wirklich eine super Entfernung. In der direkten Umgebung sind auch ein Rewe und eine Apotheke, sowie eine Tankstelle. Die Gegend ist vor allem nachts sehr ruhig und ich habe mich als Alleinreisende wohl gefühlt. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad (WC, Dusche). Alles war sauber und ordentlich, der Platz war ausreichend. Das Bett und das Kissen waren sehr bequem. Das Hostel eignet sich super für introvertierte Menschen, der Check In läuft über einen Automat vor der Tür, Check Out läuft ebenso einfach. Ich habe tatsächlich den ganzen Aufenthalt über nicht einmal live mit Personen vor Ort reden müssen. Wenn man Anliegen hat oder z.b. Frühstück dazubuchen möchte, geht das auch einfach per WhatsApp, was ich als sehr angenehme Option wahrgenommen habe. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Zimmer sind unfassbar hellhörig. Wenn also Türen geschlossen werden oder an einer der Nachbartüren geklopft wird, steht man gefühlt im Bett, da es solait und klar ist, als wäre es die eigene Tür. Also unbedingt Ohropax einpacken, vor allem wenn man durch Geräusche nachts leicht aufwacht. Alles in allem würde ich jederzeit wieder ins Arcade Hotel gehen, wenn ich eine Veranstaltung in der Barclays Arena oder im Volksparkstadion besuche.
