Kampot is sweet with a small town feel. River is beautiful. Fish market was fun. Tours to pepper farms, salt fields, Kep crab market. I extended from 4 nights to 6. I'd go out of my way to return if I'm in the area again.

Interesting area, very few tourist, the province needs to improve their roads - they were the worse I ve seen in entire Cambodia (if not the world 😅)

"The positive aspects: excellent staff. The manager, Taa, was the manager, who provided transportation to and from the transit stations The rooms were spacious. The property had ample common space. The pool area was large and scenic. The restaurant had a decent menu and was convenient. The only negative for us was the immediate area around the resort was not particularly walkable. It is serviced by an unpaved road. "
