Very friendly and helpful ..Excellent experience for us ..I,m only sorry that we did not stay for 3 more nights ..which we had at a "help yourself " hotel room in the vicinity which we had booked a lot earlier ...not a patch on Sporthotel .. We will be looking for accom . in this area next year ..Sprthotel is on the list...

Excellent hotel, great food and nice staff

nice experience the family run hotel was very pleasant the staff were great nothing was a problem even though i arrived late in the night Helda was prepared to make me something to eat . i was too tired and i did not think it was fair to put her through all that trouble. i will definately come back

Lovely quiet, rural area. Fabulous forestry, rocky outcrops, scenery so green. Great for walking, cycling, exploring this part of northern Bavaria. Even though rural roads, superb, easy from A to B. Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. No sound issues from rooms next door or above (we were ground floor). Great shower! But no tea/coffee facilities in room. The usual...
