"The property is being renovated, nearly finished downstairs and very nice. The staff are very good, friendly and helpful. Wi fi is good. Dinner and breakfast is fine and served without a long wait.We would stay again, as it is central and has a nice beer garden, which would be very nice in hot weather. Thank you Dusty and Allan."

East House
"I wasn’t sure the house was right but the post code takes you to the door! The original picture shows a White House but it isn’t white anymore. The room was a single but still I had a full bathroom to myself attached, a fridge and tea coffee stuffs so was very happy. It is so quiet out there but it’s still not far from main towns. Vanessa is a very nice host. I will definitely stay here again 🤗"
The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate
"Couldn’t recommend The Tenpus at Charlton Hall more! We stayed in one of the lakeside lodges and had such a lovely relaxing time. We had planned to eat at the Lobster Pot in Bamburgh but lucky for us they were a chef down and couldn’t accommodate us so we ate in the Tempus restaurant which was outstanding. I didn’t catch our servers name but he was so friendly and made us very welcome. Food was delicious. Can’t wait to book again… absolutely loved everything about our visit."
