beach infront of the hotel is very nice, however the accesibility to the place is very bad, there is nothing nearby: no restaurants, no tours, no stores or supermarkets. Moreover the owner of the hotel, doesn't care to help you or provide options to schedule tours to go to Cayo Arena. If you can't hire a car, the best option is to not go or think for a tour from Puerto Plata in case you really wanna go to Cayo Arena."

"The hotel is actually pretty nice inside, and the room and bathroom was nice. It's centrally-located, just a few blocks from the Malecon (ocean boulevard) in the old city, and this is the problem....the noise! The street that it's on, Beller, is somewhat of a secondary thoroughfare, linking the historic district from the boulevard. My room was on the 2nd-floor, next to this street, and it was a LOUD! I didn't sleep more than 1-2 restless hours, with my phone turned on high to rain noise! Besides...
